Travis County Fire Rescue is requesting competitive sealed bids from licensed and bonded contractors for the construction of two 60' x 80' metal buildings located at 4010 FM 1327, Creedmoor, TX 78610. The work consists of furnishing, delivering, and erecting (2) pre-engineered metal buildings and constructing engineered concrete foundations/slabs, complete and ready for use. Quantity & Size: Two buildings, each 60' x 80' with a minimum interior height of 30 feet for Building A and Building B a minimum interior height of 15 feet. Overhead doors/ Man doors: (1) 14'X14' roll up door, and (2) 3'X7' man doors. Frames: Pre-engineered bolt-up system with I-beam main frames. Roof System: Designed to meet local wind, snow, and live load requirements. Panels: 26-gauge R-panel roof and wall system with all trims, closures, and fasteners. Insulation: 1" foam insulation at roof and walls. Slab: Engineered, 6" thick, 4,000 psi post-tensioned concrete slab, with reinforcement, saw cuts, and finishing per structural design to support 7 fire engines. The foundation of the building shall be engineered to support the design loads of the apparatus, equipment, and personnel. For clarity, the maximum weight of an apparatus is 80,000 lbs.
