**As of September 8th, 2025, the project was awarded to Action Communications, with an awarded amount of $36,435 per unit.** Legal No: COL-SD-100330 ZNEZ The City of Chadron, Nebraska Police Department is hereby requesting that vendors submit proposals for replacement of outdoor emergency warming siren(s) in an existing emergency warning siren network for the city. The city will accept proposals for purchasing and installing 2 or more (up to 4) electronic,radio RF-controlled Outdoor Warning Sirens. These sirens will replace units in a current network of 4 existing sirens. Units are to be from one manufacturer, sharing common controls, and serviced by one vendor. Vendor will need to be licensed contractor able to perform work within the state of Nebraska and able to assemble and service the installed sirens and provide warranty and maintenance service for the system following installation. Any other inquiries regarding the Request for Proposals shall be directed to Gale Kittell, Emergency Communications Supervisor of the Chadron Police Department, Chadron, NE by emailing gkittell@chadronpd.com or calling 308-432-0510. The City of Chadron reserves the right to overlook any errors or omissions on the part of the vendor during the RFP process. The City of Chadron reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the proposals received.
