Municipal Building Sidewalk, Patio & Stair Improvements in the Township of Sparta. The work under this project consists of the following: a. Removal of existing landscape retaining walls, concrete pavers, and sidewalks sidewalks. b. All excavation activities required for the completion of the project, c. Construction of extended stairs. d. Construction of new landscape retaining walls as shown on project plans. e. Rebuilding of a portion of an existing landscape retaining wall as shown on project plans. f. Construction of new interlocking concrete pavers patio area. g. Installation of new concrete pavers within the existing geometric pattern areas. h. Repointing of slate covered stairs along the front of the Municipal Building entrance. i. Pellow & Associates, Inc., and approved by the Township Council, have been filed in the office of said Engineer at 17 Plains Road, Augusta, New Jersey 07822 (phone number 973- 948-6463). Prospective bidders must contact the Engineer's office between the business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, to discuss arrangements for the purchase and delivery of the bid package. Prospective Bidders shall telephone at least twenty-four (24) hours, or at least one (1) business day, in advance to reserve Bidding Documents, Plans, and Specifications. Bids must be made on Standard Proposal Forms in the manner designated therein and required by the Specifications, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and address of the bidder and name of the Project on the outside: addressed to the "Municipal Clerk" for the Township of Sparta and clearly marked on the outside "BID CN #25-04: MUNICIPAL BUILDING SIDEWALK, PATIO & STAIR IMPROVEMENTS", and must be accompanied by a notarized Non Collusion Affidavit; Consent of Surety Certified Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, provided said check or bid bond need not be more than $20,000.00 (twenty thousand dollars) nor shall it be less than $500.00 (five hundred dollars); Business Registration Certificate Specifications, copies of which will be furnished upon application to the Township Engineer.
