The work will include surface preparation, application of metal-suitable paint to the main body of the structure, and trim work. Scope of Work - Clean and prepare all exterior surfaces to be painted, including removal of any loose or flaking paint, mildew, dirt, and other debris. Perform minor surface repairs where needed to ensure proper paint adhesion. Apply primer where necessary, particularly on bare or oxidized metal. Apply high-quality, durable exterior paint suitable for metal buildings to: The body of the firehouse Trim work (e.g., doors, windows, fascia) as needed - Use a color scheme that matches or complements the existing colors unless otherwise specified (colors to be pre-approved by the Fire Dept.) - Protect all surrounding areas (sidewalks, signage, vehicles, landscaping, etc.) during preparation and painting.
