Site work and paving for a road / highway in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction services for requisition 1153337, Lone Mountain Material Source Site Development & Stockpiling on the Sierra Vista Ranger District, Coronado National Forest. Project will include mobilization, clearing and grubbing, material extraction through blasting or excavation, and crushing and stockpiling of an aggregate material in accordance with the plans and specifications. Project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 in accordance with FAR 36.204 Site visit is scheduled at 10:00AM PT on Monday, 8 September 2025. Requests for Information shall be submitted via email to richard.ortega@usda.gov no later than 14:00PM PT on 22 September 2025. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The scope of this project is to develop the Lone Mountain Quarry for road surfacing aggregate production. Lone Mountain Quarry is located on previously undisturbed land within on the Sierra Vista Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest. Work consists of rock blasting and excavating, rock crushing and stockpiling. All work must comply with the Standard Specifications For Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects (FP-14) and Forest Service Supplemental Specifications (FSSS). The surface course aggregate gradation to be produced is the "G" grading shown in Table 703-3 (See FSSS). The contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, supplies, labor, and incidentals to perform the work described herein. The contractor shall be responsible to obtain all permits as required by Arizona Department of Environmental Quality for the contractor's operation methods. There is no water or any other utilities within the quarry boundary.
