The City has procured all trees to be planted under this contract. It is the responsibility of the selected contractor to coordinate and complete tree tagging at the designated nurseries. The three nurseries, located within Los Angeles and Riverside Counties, will be disclosed to the contractor upon contract award. Tree tagging is included in the scope of work and must be completed within 14 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The contractor shall inspect and confirm that each tagged tree is in healthy condition and suitable for planting and establishment. If the nursery is unable to provide healthy, planting-ready trees, the contractor shall immediately notify the City. The contractor will be responsible for the replacement of any tagged tree found to be in poor condition at the time of delivery or installation.
