Site work for a civil project in Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of detention pond excavation, earthen berm installation, furnished excavation, placement of topsoil, building demolition and disposal, and installation of new water main. During earthwork operations, the Contractor shall be responsible for excavation, placement of suitable material on-site for construction of the earthen berm, haul-off of excess suitable material to an approved landfill, and haul-off of unsuitable material to an approved landfill. The Contractor shall install new water main prior to earthwork activities, which includes 6, 8, & 12" diameter DIP P CL 350 water main and all applicable appurtenances according to the plans. This project shall also include, but is not limited to, permanent sheet piling, storm sewer installation and removals, clearing and grubbing, utility structure adjustments, chain link fence and post removals, sediment control, traffic control complete, and construction layout. The Contractor shall also perform building demolition and disposal according to the plans. As per 820 ILCS 130/1, prevailing wages shall be required for this project. The Contractor shall begin work by September 8th, 2025 with substantial completion by December 31th, 2025. Final project completion is May 15th, 2026. Question Deadline 08/04/2025 at 11:00 AM CT
