PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF INDUSTRIAL SHREDDER AT THE WILL COUNTY RECORDS MANAGEMENT BUILDING Background: Records Management is accepting sealed bids to replace the existing industrial shredder. The current shredder is designed to slide along two fixed rails positioned above a large dumpster designated for shredded paper. For compatibility with our existing setup, it is important that the new shredder matches the current unit's dimensions, including identical wheel width and size. This will allow it to fit perfectly within our existing setup, and prevent the need for costly modifications. (current shredder is MBM DestroyIt 5009). Shredding Specs: Industrial Shredder Shredding Sheet Capacity: 600+ Sheets Ability to shred Papers, VHS Tapes and CDs Cross Cut Shredding Shred Speed 24-46 fpm Feed Opening 20" Cut size 11/32' x 1 _"-3 Bin size 79 gallons Motor: Continuous HIPAA/FACTA compliant Electrical/Dimension Preferences: Electrical Requirement 220, 3 phase Ideally, Dimensions should be no larger than 67 _"x40 _" x 84 1/2" 32 _ wheel distance
