The Rochester Housing Authority (RHA) will accept sealed bids for: Parking Lot Barrier Gate Upgrade, in Rochester NY, The RHA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or waive any informality or technicality in any proposal deemed to be in the interest of the Owner. Bids may be held by the RHA for a period not to exceed 120 days from the date of close of receipt of bids. The Rochester Housing Authority is currently soliciting bids from qualified installation firms to replace and upgrade existing parking lot barrier entrance and exit gates at Hudson Ridge Tower, 401 Seneca Manor Drive, Rochester, NY 14621. The objective ofthis public solicitation is to engage a professional firm with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the supply and installation ofparking, access, and access control systems to furnish and install a complete parking lot control system for the East parking lot access control systems accommodate resident parkers with the utilization ofproximity cards in the entry lane and sensor activated exit lane. The contractor is responsible for connecting the lane equipment to the power supply lines and control lines. The intent ofthis specification is for the contractor to be able to eventually install a complete parking, access, and egress system Install a complete parking lot control system consisting of one entrance lane and one exit lane.' The entrance lane will each consist of; a pedestal, a barrier gate that will automatically raise when a vehicle operator displays a proximity card and approaches the gate arm. The installed system must be able to be adapted to an automatic entry system that will raise the gate when a vehicle approaches. The exit lane will consist of a barrier gate that will rise when a vehicle approaches the gate. Installation shall include mounting, wiring AC power and control lines, connecting surge suppressors, installing control panel, setting up, programming system parameters as necessary, and testing complete system. Installation should also include cutting pavement and installing vehicle detection loops. Interconnecting conduits for 120 VAC power and control cable are pre-existing. The term of this contract shall be for a 12-month period tentatively beginning in the fall of 2025, and ending one calendar year later in 2026.
