Project Description: This Project Includes the Demolition of the Existing Swimming Pool and Parking Lot and the Construction of a New Swimming Pool, Parking Lot, and Associated Utilities. This Project Consists of a Base Bid for a Concrete Pool and an Alternate Bid for Stainless Steel Walls and Gutters With a Concrete Bottom. Bidders May Bid on the Base Bid and/or the Alternate; They Do Not Need to Bid on Both. Project Cost: The Engineer's Estimated Construction Cost for the Base Bid, Which is a Concrete Swimming Pool, is $7.1 Million. The Engineer's Estimated Construction Cost for the Alternate Bid, Which is for Stainless Steel Walls and Gutters With a Concrete Bottom, is $4.53 Million. Project Completion Date: May 1, 2027 Each Bid Must Contain the Full Name of Every Person or Company Interested in the Same, and Be Accompanied by a Bidding Bond or a Certified Check in the Amount of 10% of the Bid Price as a Guaranty That if the Bid is Accepted, a Contract Will Be Entered Into and Its Performance Secured or Provide a Contract Bond for 100% of the Bid Amount. Bidders Must Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and the City of Wooster, Ohio as Determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.
