Site work for a mixed-use development in Slocan, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The objective of this work is to prepare roadways for asphalt paving and complete the asphalt paving of the internal campground road network. The scope of work in this project: Attendance at an on-site pre-construction meeting prior to commencement of construction works. Conformance to all WorkSafe B.C regulations and other mandatory regulatory bodies. Supply of all required Contractor supplied materials, equipment, and labor for the project. Grading and shaping of existing gravel road grade in preparation for base coarse. Placement of 100 mm compacted depth of crushed aggregate road base on all internal park roads. Placement of 50 mm compacted thickness of hot mix asphalt pavement over prepared road base. Shouldering, including transitions to campground driveways. Reinstallation of traffic signs and other roadway markers as required. Optional Scope Improvements to gravel road to 2nd Lake Parking lot. Installation of AP Speed bumps/humps. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca Award is subject to final approval.
