Renovation of a municipal facility in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project involves work relating to stone restoration, repointing, and cleaning. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and a Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractors Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall provide a copy of their WV Contractor's license and include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. See supplemental instructions to bidders for more information. It is expressly agreed that the Work shall be started within fourteen (14) days of the Owners Notice to Proceed. The Bidder, if successful and awarded a Contract, agrees that all Work is to be Substantially Complete before October 2, 2025 and agrees to achieve Final Completion within fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days thereafter.
