Renovation of a residential development in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF JACKSON COUNTY, Ripley, West Virginia will receive sealed bids for it's TANGLEWOOD VILLA AND ROLLING MEADOW PROJECT, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work consists of but is not limited to replacement of siding and sliding doors, etc and all associated work for a complete project. Contractors shall have 5 years minimum experience in the work to be performed. Work to be completed within 120 consecutive days from Notice to Bid. Each bidder is required to purchase one set of project documents to insure that they possess and maintain the most current and complete set of drawings, Project Manual and addenda. Examination of Plans, Project Manual and Addenda at plan rooms are not guaranteed to be the latest issues. The Housing Authority of Jackson County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. The Housing Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, religion or age. A certified check or bank draft, payable to The Housing Authority of Jackson County Par Value U. S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The goal of 20% for minorities and women applies nationwide.Project Scope of Work A. The project consists of the replacement of existing vinyl siding and sliding glass doors, etc and all associated work for a complete project. Contractors shall have 5 years minimum experience in the work being performed. B. The contractor shall visit the site and become familiar with all aspects of the work to be performed and shall make all exploratory investigations required to insure that all the work can be performed and completed and shall include all necessary work associated to complete the work as indicated and to the intent of the drawings and specifications. Refer to General Notes on drawings. ALL QUESTIONS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED 10 DAYS PRIOR TO BID OPENING.
