Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Harrison County Fiscal Court will be receiving sealed bids for paving of Hinton-Webber Road in Harrison County. The Court reserves the right to accept or reject and/or all bids. SPECIFICATIONS 8. 9. 1. Install and maintain appropriate traffic control devices prior to and during the performance ofthe work. 2. Perform milling work at each end ofproposed county road and adjacent to the existing bridges in order to make a smooth tie-in as directed. This work will be paid as Milling. 3. Sweep, clean and tack all areas to be paved. Install a Bituminous Leveling Course on specific county road as directed. The Hot Mixed Asphalt material will be furnished by the Harrison County Fiscal Court. Install a Bituminous Surface Course on specific county Road as directed. The Hot Mixed Asphalt material will be furnished by the Harrison County Fiscal Court. Bidder must be a pre-qualified contractor with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. All work must be performed in accordance to Kentucky 2012 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The bid price for the asphalt paving items must include all labor, equipment, and haul necessary to perform the work. Bid must be submitted on the bid form supplied by the Harrison County Fiscal Court. The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in the best interest ofthe Harrison County Fiscal Court. The Harrison County Fiscal Court reserves the right to require a 100% Performance and Payment Bond.
