The Project consists of asphalt milling, asphalt paving, shouldering, seeding, and pavement markings. This project is 100% state funded by the Kentucky Department of Aviation (KDA), therefore the Bidder shall be pre-qualified to complete their Scope of Work at the time of bidding. All subcontractors are only required to be pre-qualified/approved at the time their Scope of Work commences. The Bidder shall be in good standing with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC). Furthermore, the Bidder is responsible for completing Form 00 45 13 Qualifications at time of bidding. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid security in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with the Contract Documents. Civil Rights Title VI Assurance The CYNTHIANA-HARRISON COUNTY AIRPORT BOARD, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award. Davis-Bacon Wage Rates do not apply to this project. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date. Within 60 days from the bid date, the Owner may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder or reject any or all Bids for the Project.
