This project consists of a prefabricated pedestrian bridge at the Warriormine City Park that was washed away during a 2022 flood event. Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit Bids. The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The undersigned hereby proposes and agrees to furnish all the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services for the construction required for this Project in accordance with the Plans, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Thompson & Litton, at the pricesstated below. These prices are to cover all expenses to complete the Work and make it fully operational in accordance with the Contract Documents. Total Bid Amounts shall be stated in both words and figures. In case of a discrepancy, words shall govern. The undersigned agrees that the prices below are the balanced figures used in preparing the Bid and further agrees, if awarded the Contract, to furnish an itemized breakdown of costs for any Bid Item.
