Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Design plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
As of May 1, 2026, a design firm has been selected. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* OVERVIEW St. Johns County intends to construct a new Fire Rescue Training Facility ("FRTF"), which requires property identification and development as well as design of the site and facilities. The facility's design may include, but is not limited to: fire stations, drill towers, extrication yards, Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) trench and rubble training areas, classrooms, swift water and marine rescue training zones, search and rescue buildings, fire simulation props, a hazmat railway, general sitework (including a retention pond), outdoor classrooms/pavilions, and storage buildings. Bid has no blueprints associated with it. Any and all questions and/or inquiries related to this RFQ shall be directed, in writing, to the Designated Point of Contact as provided above, by or before four o'clock (4:00PM) EST on Thursday August 7, 2025. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County.
