This project consists of: 1. The installation of approximately 11,500 LF of 8-inch DR-21 PVC water line with associated valves, and related appurtenances; 2. Four bore and jack road crossings (Rock Springs Cemetery Rd, Howard Bridge Rd, Fred White Rd) 3. New Automatic Air Release Valves 5. Approx. 800 LF HDD bore with 10" HDPE (DIPS) DR9 under Duck River 6. Multiple connections to existing water lines 7. Replacing 2" Master Meter with new 4" Master Meter along Blackburn Rd. 7. Clearing, grubbing, seeding, strawing, restoration; 8. All other necessary and incidental work to complete the project in accordance with these plans and specifications. A PDF copy of the bid documents may be obtained at the office of Hethcoat & Davis, Inc. for the non-refundable cost of $50.00. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
