Proposed scope of work to the National Park Service's Bus Garage located at Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, West Virginia 25425, includes maintaining the facility's existing footprint, upgrade utilities to support electrical vehicle charging for buses, and reconfigure existing office and storage space to add a breakroom, office, storage and electrical room. a. Upgrade to 3-phase electric power: New electric utility cable in conduit trenched in roadway to connect at the new underground junction at the public parking lot entrance manhole to the new transformer at the bus garage and into the new electric room. All associated asphalt and base roadway repair. c. Provide code-compliant fire safety equipment, including fire detection and alarm system, also detection for gasses. d. Provide 2-inch telecommunication cabling connecting from new wall-mounted telecom rack to roof-mounted satellite dish system device. e. Reconfigure interior space to include break room, office, electrical room, and storage room including associated MEP. f. Construct new 1-hr rated electrical room including equipment panels. g. Provide heavy-duty metal shelving in new storage room. h. Provide floor-ceiling assembly, lighting, and related HVAC and electrical systems, finishes in new and renovated spaces. i. Provide concrete walkway at existing entrance stoop at southeast corner of building. j. Remove existing interior furnace and belly oil tank. k. Relocate existing air pressure tank equipment. l. Provide new eyewash station. m. Create new exterior opening at north wall of building and install new egress door.
