Renovation of a water / sewer project in Lexa, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of rehabilitating the interior levees at the wastewater treatment facility construction. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bid-ding processes shall be in accordance with State law. The work to be performed under the provisions of these contract documents consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, labor, installation, finishing, and start-up service needed to construct the wastewater treatment facility improvements and related appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner and to fully complete the project within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days thereafter. The bidder must agree also to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter.
