**As of September 25, 2025, the project was awarded to California Professional Engineering, Inc., with an awarded amount of $765,943.62.** The Work consists of improvements at the intersection of Indian Canyon Drive and Via Escuela in the City of Palm Springs. The scope includes construction of ADA-compliant curb ramps, curb and gutter, pavement, signing and striping, installation of a new traffic signal, and integrating the signal to Coachella Valley Association of Government's (CVAG) existing fiber communication system. The Work also includes removal and reconstruction of existing roadway features as necessary. Optional Bid work may also be awarded for traffic signal improvements at the intersection of East Palm Canyon & Sunrise Way. The Work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion within 90 working days. Working days may be paused for verified long lead time items, subject to the Engineer's approval. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bid Documents are to be submitted in writing on the Questions tab within online . Questions submitted after 12:00 PM on August 11, 2025, will not be accepted. Answers will be released in online for everyone to review. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy to demonstrate proof of a certified or cashier's check or a Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the total bid price, payable to the City of Palm Springs. The original will be collected from the apparent lowest responsive bidder and shall match the electronic copy
