Site work for a water / sewer project in Lexington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a pre-packaged booster pump station on Fairland Street in Lexington, MA 02421. The project shall include a pitless pre-packaged booster pump station, associated piping, and ancillary equipment and controls. The work also includes all site restoration and miscellaneous work to provide a complete and fully operational pre-packaged booster pump station. The work of this project shall be substantially complete within 120 calendar days and ready for final payment within 150 calendar days from the date of award. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of thirty (30) days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of the General Bids. This advertisement does not obligate the Owner for any costs associated with preparing or submitting bids. The successful General Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in its best interest. Bid date notes: General Bids will be received at the Town Office Building located at 1626 Massachusetts Avenue, Procurement Office, Third Floor, Lexington, Massachusetts 02420 Question Deadline 08/05/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
