Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Aurora, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
New York Street corridor improvements will involve adding an additional left turn lane at Commons Dr., Station Boulevard and the Fox Valley Mall Entrance 6. Other proposed improvements will involve modernizing all traffic signals, widening minor streets to accommodate the left turn lane, street lighting upgrade, installing video detection system, sidewalk/bike path installation, upgrading ADA ramps, tree removal/replacement and other pertinent work. The city was approved for federal HSIP funding, the project cost will be covered at a 90/10 split. As of July 23, 2025, The project is include in the City's 2025-2034 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
