The project is a public-private partnership between the city and Related California with plans for office space, hotel rooms, and a replacement for S.F. Fire Station No. 13. _____________ As part of a public-private partnership, the City and County of San Francisco has entered into an agreement with a private developer to construct a new station for Fire Station 13 as part of a mixed-use development project in Chinatown. As a portion of this project, the Departments aging Fire Station 13 will be demolished and replaced with a new facility adjacent to the current one. This project will create a seismically enhanced fire station that meets the current operational demands of the Fire Department. The budget for this project is an estimated $30 million and will be entirely developer-funded. As of September 26, 2025 ,this project is included in the City's 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). This project is currently in the design phase. Construction is expected to commence in 2027. Information regarding a timeline for bidding has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
