Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Salt Lake, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project will be a Federally Financed Community Development Project. All rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable. The contract is to be awarded to the lowest responsible and reasonable bidder, whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in the request for bids. Requirements for prevailing wage rates and certified payrolls apply in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act. Work to be completed under this project is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and is subject to Build America, Buy America (BABA). The scope of work for this contract includes providing all labor, material, equipment and tools necessary for removal of existing asphalt pavement section, excavation, untreated base course, concrete and asphalt pavement, adjusting of manholes and water valve boxes to finished grade, and removal and replacement of curb and gutter and sidewalk / driveways, and all other work as contained in the contract documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. The City of South Salt Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid if deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
