Site work and renovation of a civil project in Pocatello, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project consists of construction improvements for the Country Haven Utilities Association. The Association intends to install a new submersible style duplex lift station to convey collected wastewater from near Rockford, Idaho to a tie-in point to the Groveland Water & Sewer Districts System at Snake River Highschool. The work consists of the installation of the lift station, approximately 16,300 feet of 4-inch pressure sewer line, approximately 160 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer line, and appurtenances. A backup generator will be installed and wired in to serve the lift station at a nearby drinking water well. Selected electrical upgrades at the well and installation of an electrical feed to the new lift station will allow for power to feed the lift station. Excavation of mass rock during the installation of the new piping is anticipated. A portion of the line crossing the Peoples Canal is intended to be installed using horizontal directional drill (HDD) methods and a highway crossing using Jack and Bore methods is planned. If project funds allow, approximately 1,200 feet of additional existing sewer line will be rehabilitated using CIPP or Fold-N-Form methods. Work includes but is not limited to clearing, grubbing, trench excavation, mass excavation, rock excavation, pipeline installation, surface repair, installation of precast structures, site work, miscellaneous appurtenant work, and installation of mechanical equipment. Mechanical equipment to be installed includes pumps and a propane gas backup generator Docs notes : Bidders will be required to pay a nonrefundable cost of $100 for the Paper Document version or $50 for the CD version. Bid Documents can also be purchased electronically for $30. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified cashiers check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Country Haven Utilities Association in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of not less than 100% of the contract price. The Association reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the Country Haven Utilities Association.
