Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Pocatello, Idaho. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of October 6, 2025, bids received were rejected due to over the budget and has been rejected. The project consists of constructing a new entrance facility at the existing landfill and demolishing the existing scale house and scales. This project will require the construction of over 2,100 lineal feet of asphalt road, 53,000 cubic yards of embankment, 5,800 cubic yards of excavation, installation of three (3) 80-foot concrete deck weighing scales and scale foundations, construction of a new scale house, construction of a 4-bay concrete z-wall, fencing, site lighting, stormwater improvements, and gravel recycling/public tipping area. This project will also include furnishing and installing unmanned scale kiosks with appurtenances, signage, automatic sliding gates, automatic swinging gates, and guard rail. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive bid that is in the best interest of Bannock County.
