The Parish is soliciting qualification statements for engineering services to analyze the existing culverts along Dunn Street to determine which of the culverts should/could be replaced to improve drainage and reduce flooding. Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government (TPCG) has committed resources awarded by FEMA as a result of Hurricane Ida to study the causes of flooding in the area to analyze the existing subsurface drainage system to provide specific recommendations to alleviate flooding that is occurring within the area. This project will deliver to the Parish an H&H study, preliminary engineering, design engineering, and a procurement packet for the resulting proposed project/s in compliance with federal disaster grant program requirements. TPCG, through this RFQ, will be identifying an engineering firm or firms deemed qualified and eligible to perform work within Terrebonne Parish. The selection of the firm/s will be based on the strength of the firm’s qualifications in study, design, flood control improvements and familiarity with coastal conditions and federal requirements.
