Renovation of an educational facility in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project involves the renovation of room b114-29 and the adjacent control and equipment rooms and installation of a new university-furnished, contractor installed siemens biograph positron emission tomography/computed tomography (pet/ct) scan system on the b-1 level of 200 medical plaza (mp200), including the associated universityfurnished, contractor installed chiller unit serving the pet/ct equipment. The scope of work includes demolition of improvements in the way of the proposed work; Installation of equipment, anchoring and framing; modifications to the building's mechanical, Electrical, hvac, and plumbing systems to support the program; modifications to associated Nurse call, fire alarm, fire sprinkler and security systems; lead shielding upgrades; testing and Balancing; and repairs to any building finishes impacted by the work.
