**As of September 10, 2025, the project was awarded to On-call contracting, with an awarded amount of $475,000** Scope of Work: The Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) pumping and flow monitoring system demolition and removal, and installation, as well as the removal of the scum pit pump and installation of a new pump, and access improvements. James W. Fowler Co. is requesting Quotes for the following Categories: Concrete Supply Rebar Concrete Cutting & Boring Coating/Painting Electrical Aggregate Supply A. Project includes improvements at two pumping systems located at the Sandy Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). 1. WAS Pump Station: The Work includes demolition and removal of two existing air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps, installation of two new electrically driven rotary lobe pumps, associated process piping, fittings and valves, installation of a magnetic flow meter, bypass piping, concrete bases, connections to existing piping, temporary flow meter, relocation of existing water heater and associated piping, electrical and instrumentation improvements as shown on the drawings. 2. Scum Pump Station: The scum pit pump will be removed and replaced with a new pump, float switches and control panel, piping, fittings, associated electrical and connection to existing piping. Access improvements, including a new hatch, will be made for easier retrieval and cleaning of the scum pump as shown on the drawings.
