Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lewisville, Texas. Design plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; retail development; municipal facility; restaurant; office development; parking garage; hospitality development; conference / convention center; multi-residential development; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Plans call to construct new three-story DCTA headquarters would include office space, a waiting area and a retail and restaurant area. There are also plans to consider a hotel and conference center. As of May 20, 2026, this project is in preliminary stage of planning. The Denton County Transit Authority has secured a Federal Transit Administration grant. The partial funding will be covered by Denton County Transit Authority, development partners and other sources. A developer selection is scheduled for winter 2027 with construction slated to begin Spring of 2027 through Fall 2029.
