Description

Site work for a civil project in Queen City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: Removal of existing pumps, and pipe fittings. Installation of new pumps and welded pipe fittings custom fitted. Electrical work will include installation of variable frequency drives, onsite telemetry for Scada controls, and installation of two water valves. An air conditioner unit will also be installed to provide climate control for the electrical components within the pump room. A total of 3 pumps will be replaced A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Queen City, Texas or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Queen City, Texas reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
