Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Ashley, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: 1. A new, raised access road and drain crossing, 2. Removing and replacing Filter Building roof at Ashley WWTP and disposal of roof 3. Removing and replacing existing sand filters and disposal of filter structures and media. 4. Removing existing abandoned Plant Water System and all ancillary piping and valves. 5. Installing floor grating, equipment supports 6. Installing disc filter equipment and any and all piping, valves, electrical and mechanical equipment required to make the disc filters operable. 7. Installing non-potable water piping within the Filter Building, taking a feed from the existing 4-inch main that feeds the existing screening system. 8. Removing and replacing two pumps in the Inlet Lift Pump Station with chopper pumps of the equivalent maximum flow with variable frequency drives. Piping, valves, fittings and other equipment will be realigned to suit. As of July 28, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released.
