New construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bowling Green, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; for the construction of a 21,000-square-foot fire / police facility; and 14,200-square-foot fire / police facility.

Each submission is to include as a minimum the following items: 1. List three similar projects and references for said projects. 2. List the key staff that will be responsible for the project. 3.Describe staff capacity and their ability to perform the work within the timeframe given, relative to the present workload, and the availability of the assigned staff. 4. Outline firms technical approach, understanding of the project, cost containment practices, innovative ideas and other relevant information concerning firms qualifications for the project. The evaluation of submissions shall be based upon the following criteria: 1. Experience of the firm in the design of safety facilities 2.The qualifications and experience of proposed staff 3.Availability to meet schedule 4. Project approach of the firm 5.Examples of recently completed similar projects. Questions about the project shall be submitted to: Andy Sergent City of Bowling Green Facilities Projects Manager asergent@bgohio.org As required by the Ohio Revised Code 153.65-71, responding firms will be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the City of Bowling Green, Ohio will enter into contract negotiations with the most qualified firm. The selected qualified consultant is required to submit Certificates of Insurance providing professional liability and other insurance coverage acceptable to the City prior to the execution of the contract. The City of Bowling Green reserves the right to reject any and all submittals and to waive irregularities and informalities in the submittal and evaluation process. This Request for Qualifications does not obligate the City to pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation and submission of the statement of qualifications, and does not obligate the City to accept or contract for any expressed or implied services.
