Renovation of a retail development in Reserve, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 78,500-square-foot retail development.

Construction cost estimate of $3 to $4 Million. Scope of work consists of the removal of front decorative wall,existing metal flashing, existing metal gutters, downspouts and all roof top units. Removal and installation of the existing roof as required to install the front parapet wall brace. Install pipe braces for front of parapet wall. The installation of a new standing seam retrofit metal roofing system, flashing, gutters and downspouts on the North Side and South Side of the building. Salvage and reuse three (3) existing HVAC units. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The form of this security shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder without discrimination on grounds of race, color, sex or national origin. Disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under La. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of opening thereof, except as provided by La. R.S. 38:2214(C). The parties may mutually agree to extend the bid for additional days. Owner reserves its right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the bidding documents shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by any public entity.
