WWTP Hillside Stabilization and Stairway Improvements Project :- Work In This Contract: Work in this Contract includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary for construction of Wastewater Treatment Plant Slope Stabilization and Stairway Improvements Project, Project No. 521038 as noted on the Contract Drawings and all other Contract Documents and is summarized as follows: The Work shall consist of furnishing and constructing retaining walls, v-ditch, vdrains, u-ditch, grate inlets, concrete block slough wall, reinforced concrete stairway, installing type A, and appurtenances; all traffic control (including furnishing and installing all arrowboards, barricades, signs, delineators, and flagmen); all utility location and verification (excavating, exposing, and verifying top, bottom, and side of utility facilities); all pavement removal and disposal; all earthwork (including trenching, shoring, sloping, bedding, and backfilling including select imported material or select native material); compacting; protecting in place or removing and replacing all existing utilities, trees, and public and private improvements; replacing all asphalt concrete pavement including asphalt concrete overlays; pavement striping and restriping; testing and disinfecting all pipelines; replacing destroyed survey monuments; disposing of excess soil and rock material and restoring all areas and improvements to preconstruction conditions. The Contractor shall, upon completion of the pipeline construction and appurtenances required herein, initially operate all components of the Contract Work furnished and installed by Contractor, and make any additional adjustments, corrections, repairs, replacements, and reconstructions necessary to provide the City with complete, correctly operating pipeline and appurtenances.
