Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Casey, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Project: This project involves the construction of a new township building for Union Township. A general description ofthe building specifications is set forth below. Each bidder is responsible for his/her own measurements. The final product/deliverable is to be a new pole building at 2091 County Road 1100 N, Casey, Illinois. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid will be required from the selected successful bidder in conjunction with Article I and II, of the bid documents. Work shall com-mence as soon as practical after the award of the bid and proposed start dates shall be set forth in the bid. with a completion date not later than December 31, 2025. Further specifications and requirements are provided in the Bid Form/Bidding Documents. The win-ning bidder must be prepared to comply with all applicable laws and provide proof of insurance. The con-tractor shall not pay less than the current prevailing wage rates to all laborers and workmen performing the work under this contract and shall comply with the requirements of the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). See bid Form/Bid Documents for details. The winning bidder, if any, will be advised soon thereafter. Union Township reserves the right in its sole discretion to waive irregulari- ties, omissions, or reject all bids.
