Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the construction of a 378,000-square-foot, 10-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The purpose and intent of this RFP is to solicit Proposals from qualified vendors to provide construction management services to the College. Details of the services requirements are contained within this RFP. The Career Skills Centre project would meet NorQuest's spatial and programmatic needs in the medium-term horizon (2030) as the College is experiencing rapid student growth. The College has land assets available at our downtown Edmonton campus to accommodate a new facility in the range of 35,000 m2. It is expected that a building of this size would provide space to accommodate approximately 3500-4000 additional FLEs. The new building can also become a catalyst for enhanced and innovative learning and research environments to support learners, and meet evolving workforce demands.
