** As of August 25, 2025 project has been awarded to McGill Construction LLC with an awarded amount of $1,206,589.11.** Site Directions: Harlem Ave. to 173rd Place, south on 68th Court. This project will consist of the construction of a new HMA parking lot with concrete curb, storm sewer, sidewalks and pavement striping. The improvements will also include lighting, landscaping and the construction of a volume-control area with native plantings. Pre-Bid Meeting Info: There will not be a Prebid Meeting. SCOPE OF WORK This project is being presented in two (2) phases (Phase 1 & Phase 2) both phases consists of the removal of the existing trees, concrete and bituminous pavement, parking lot stone, fencing, storm sewer system structures and piping, outdoor light poles and fixtures, concrete walls, and associated site debris. This project also includes the construction of proposed bituminous pavement, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalk, installation of storm sewer structures and associated piping, fencing, outdoor lighting, and excavation with related erosion control items with site restoration including fine grading and sod installation all as shown on the plans. The quantities called for in this contract indicate the approximate amount of work to be expected. The actual amounts for the various items may vary depending upon actual field conditions. The Village reserves the right to reduce or increase the scope of project quantities and to delete entire line items. It shall be understood and agreed upon that the unit prices for these items shall prevail throughout the period of the contract and that no additional compensation per unit price or otherwise will be allowed for any increase or decrease in the quantities including, but not limited to, decreases due to the deletion of an entire location/section of the improvement. No increase in unit price will be allowed if method of construction changes due to decreased quantity
