Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Perth-Andover, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Municipality is requesting proposals for the following: - Installation of approximately 355 m of concrete sidewalk. - The sidewalk will be 1.8 m (6 ft) wide x 125 mm (5") deep. - Concrete work to be in accordance with NB DTI Specification Item 301.2 and CSA A23.1 exposure class C-2. - Concrete Mix o Minimum compressive strength at 28 days: 32 MPa o Exposure Class C-2 o Air content 5% to 8% o 20 mm nominal size aggregate o Maximum water/materials ratio: 0.45 o Chemical admixtures in accordance with ASTM C494 o Slump at point of discharge: 80 mm +/- 20 mm - Foreman to provide final layout to municipal staff for grading of level base for curb. - All bidders are required to visit the site prior to tendering. - The successful bidder will be required to submit proof of the contractor's liability insurance. - Measurement for payment will be based on the number of square meters of sidewalk installed.
