Contractor shall provide services on an on-call, as-needed, Service Request basis. CalEPA is solely responsible for determining acceptability of the work performed. In the case of work requiring specialty inspection or performed under a building code, all required approvals shall be provided by qualified inspectors certified by corresponding regulatory entity approving the work. The contract term shall be for twenty-four (24) months. This contract will contain a twelve (12) month option to renew. If this contract is renewed, it will be at the same rates provided in the Contractor Cost Sheet. It is at the discretion of CalEPA to exercise this option. More detailed information can be found in the Draft Standard Agreement. CARB's budget for this project is $200,000.00 Bids exceeding this amount may be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. f bidder is claiming the 5 % certified SB or MB preference, or is committing to subcontract 25 % or more of their net bid price to one or more Certified SBs or MBs, complete Bidder Declaration (GSPD-05-105), Attachment 8, and attach a copy of the certification.
