Dot Culvert at Entrance' ADD OR DEDUCT: Furnish and install 10 3/4" O.D. well casing cemented per linear foot Furnish and install 6" I.D. stainless steel well screen and gravel packing per linear foot Furnish and install 6 5/8" O.D. blank liner pipe per linear foot Furnish and install 6 5/8" O.D. column pipe per linear foot Furnish and install three-wire power cable for a 250 HP submersible pump per linear foot Provide for Equipment and Labor to haul drilling mud to off-site disposal location Mobilization & Plugging Back Allowance of existing screens as required per each Provide for Generator for Development of Well No Pre-Bid conference will be held for this project, and the major items to be furnished and installed are: Furnish all materials to drill, complete and test one (1) 2,450-footdeep water supply well with submersible deep well pump, including all required distribution piping, electrical work, well slab, well head piping and disinfection facilities. Bidders must submit with their bids a Bid Bond in the amount of Five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of bid payable without recourse to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on Behalf of the City of Dorchester from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within fourteen (14) days after notice of award of contract to him. Cashier's check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid amount will be accepted in lieu of Bid Bond. Bids submitted without a bid bond or cashier's check will not be considered. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment bonds in a penal sum of not less than 100% of the contract price and remain in effect for one year beyond the date of approval by the engineer of the political subdivision (this language must be included in the body of the bonds). The bonds must be issued by an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety and deemed acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of the Treasure of the United States, or other surety or sureties acceptable to the Owner. Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding process. In addition, a two (2) year warranty is required for all work on this project. This contract is contingent upon the release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract(s) awarded under this Advertisement for Bids is/are expected to be funded.
