This project consists of removals, pavement patch, driveway pavement, curb and gutter, aggregate base course storm sewer inlets and structures and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the work. Federal law requires the payment of Davis-Bacon wages by all contractors and subcontractors on this job. State law requires the payment of Prevailing Wages on this job. According to the Illinois Preference Act, the contractor must use at least 90% of Illinois laborers on this project due to its funding source and the current period of excessive unemployment. The City of Belleville reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the City of Belleville, and their decision will be final. This work shall consist of placing cement mortar along precast, prestressed concrete bridge deck beams as required for fairing out any unevenness between adjacent deck beams prior to placing of waterproofing membrane and surfacing." The work on this project consists of removals, earthwork, aggregate base, PCC Pavement patching, storm sewer and drainage structures, paved ditch, seeding, retaining wall, fences and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the work according to the plans, specifications and special provisions.
