The Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe (YPIT) is requesting Qualifications and Proposals for professional Owner's Representative services for the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe Travel Center. The goal is to contract a company or individual that can best assist YPIT in working with a Design-Build Contractor Team to successfully design, construct and open the Travel Center in a manner that meets the Tribe's budget and is appropriate to the size and scale of the proposed project. The Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe (YPIT), located in Prescott, AZ currently owns several economic enterprises including: two casinos (Bucky's Casino and Yavapai Casino), The Prescott Resort and Conference Center, Frontier Village Commercial Center and Sundog Business Park. The Travel Center will become another enterprise, adding to the Tribe's economic diversification. The proposed site of the Travel Center is located at the northeast corner of North Heather Heights and State Route 69 on the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Reservation adjacent to Prescott, Arizona. The approximate 12-acre site has recently been mass graded in anticipation of the Travel Center as well as future pad development sites. YPIT is currently soliciting qualifications and proposals from potential Design-Build Contractor Teams and plans to have a design-build team selected by early to mid-September. The owner's representative services will be initiated once the Design-Build Contractor Team is selected, and the services will extend through PreConstruction (Design), Construction and Close-Out of the Travel Center. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
