Reference Number WS5271490942-Doc5271857530 In general, Work under this contract consists of the reconstruction of Structure 402 in Louisbourg, Nova Scotia. The work under this Contract includes but is not limited to: .1 Site work including mobilization, demobilization, excavation, demolition and removals, hauling and disposal onsite or offsite as required. .2 Supply, installation and maintenance of environmental controls required to complete the work. .3 Survey required to set location and elevation of new work as indicated on the drawings. .4 Underwater excavation and removal of sediments (to indicated lines and grades) and properly manage containment of sediment that is expected in the area of work. .5 Supply and installation of new steel pile and concrete panel bulkhead walls (Berlin walls) including, new rock socketed piling to indicated elevations, tie rods, precast concrete panels, concrete anchor walls and reinforced concrete deck. .6 Supply and installation of new fills behind, and in front, of the new Berlin wall to lines and limits as shown on the drawings. .7 Installation of connections between new and existing work as detailed on the drawings. .8 Installation of new reinforced concrete deck and reinstatement of the existing ground as disturbed by removals. .9 Supply and installation of new wharf accessories including galvanized steel ladders, vertical hold fasts, rubbing strip, rubber tire fenders, mooring cleats and bollards. .10 Installation of new electrical system upgrades as detailed on the drawings. .11 Installation of new water supply line as detailed on the drawings. The Contractor shall perform and complete within 91 weeks of award. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation.
