Renovation of a municipal facility in Milwaukie, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Mcbrod Building Replacement of Roof Top Units :- Background: Clackamas County Facilities Management acting as a general contractor is soliciting bids from qualified subcontractors to provide and install 12 total package units. Jobsite is located at: 9000 SE Mcbrod, Milwaukie, 97222. McBrod is a Clackamas County Sheriff's Department Bldg. It's an 80-bed facility and houses a residential drug and alcohol treatment program for male and female offenders as well as transitional housing beds. Project Scope: The awarded Contractor shall remove existing Lennox package units and replace like for like or equal. Units will conform to all American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and AirConditioning Engineers ("ASHRAE") standards for commercial applications. This contract will cover required permits, Engineering (if needed), the removal and disposal of existing unit(s), the supply and installation of 12 Package units, the replacement of the associated gas valves of each unit, complete air balance of area units supply and adjustment of any supply and returns as necessary, start up and complete calibration of units as well as economizers, and all incidentals needed or required to deliver a complete, operating system. All work under this BID shall be completed by 30th of June, 2026. The contractor is to provide and install 12 package units, replacing existing Lennox units. The contractor is to supply and install economizers for units. Contractor is to supply and install the appropriate mechanical curb, if needed, for existing footprint. The contractor is responsible for the crane and the orchestration of lifting off the old and set-down the new units. The contractor shall supply and replace gas valves associated with the units being replaced. The contractor is responsible for installing seismic strapping for each unit. The contractor is responsible for start-up, calibration and commissioning of unit(s). Contractor is to provide all permits, performance bonds, Engineering if needed and include these costs into your bid. The contractor is responsible for hauling away old equipment, cleaning and removing all construction debris from working areas. All electrical will be done "in house". Included is the current model and serial numbers of the existing units. Contractor will verify sizes of individual units and size units accordingly. Prevailing Wage Rates requirements apply to this Project because the maximum compensation for all Owner-contracted Work is more than $50,000. Contractor and all subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of ORS 279C.800 through 279C.870, relative to Prevailing Wage Rates.
