The City ofLake Worth Beach is soliciting bids from responsible and experienced entities to provide water damage remediation services to the City's owned facilities immediately after a hurricane, other disaster, or as needed by the City on an emergency basis. The objective ofthe Invitation for Bid ("IFB") and subsequent contracting activity is to secure the services of an experienced contractor(s) who is capable of efficiently providing water damage remediation services in a timely and costeffective manner. This is an acknowledgement that FEMA financial assistance may be used to fund the resulting contract. The Bidder shall perform all work in compliance with all applicable federal law, regulations, executive orders, FEMA policies, procedures, and directives in order to maximize recovery ofreimbursable expenses. This shall include the provision of audit quality documentation as required by and acceptable to FEMA for all work accomplished. The City's complete scope ofservices is attached as Exhibit "A" and incorporated into this IFB. All persons or entities responding to the IFB (hereafter "Bidders") are responsible for ensuring that their bid is received by the City at its' designated office address by the deadline indicated in the IFB. The City will in no way be responsible for delays caused by any occurrence. Bids shall not be submitted and will not be accepted in by e-mail, telephone, telegram, facsimile or any other City's address except as notified below. The time ofreceipt shall be determined by the time clock in Financial Services Department.
