Renovation of a water / sewer project in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
*Rebid Date 09/04/2025 at 3:00 PM Contractors planning to submit a bid for DISTRICT projects must purchase an official set of plans and specifications in order to be a registered planholder. A non-refundable deposit of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) is required. Orders for plans and specifications which are to be delivered by parcel post or other carriers will not be accepted for a period of five (5) days prior to bid date. The project shall generally consist of the demolition of an existing sand transport system and replacing with the installation of a new sand transport system at the incinerator building of the Metropolitan Sewerage District's French Broad River Water Reclamation Facility. Demolition will include the existing 600 cubic foot storage silo, transporter, and associated control panel. Installation will include erecting a 900 cubic foot storage silo, assembling attachments to the storage silo, setting a new transporter and control panel, installing a portion of a future 3 conveyance reroute piping, and all accessories to make a complete and operable system. Question Deadline 08/22/2025: Every request for interpretation of Plans, Specifications or any portion of the Contract Documents shall be in writing and must be addressed to the office of the District, and to be given consideration must be received by the District at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids
