THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF Selective demolition, grading, synthetic turf installation, chain link fence installation, and field preparation Bidders and other interested parties should note that prequalification of equipment manufacturers by the Engineer prior to the bid opening may be required for this project. Equipment prequalification requirements, if any, are described in the Contract Documents. The bid deposit shall be retained by Buncombe Co. Parks & Rec if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or fails to provide the required bonds, as stated above, within ten (10) days after award of the contract. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Each Bidder Must Be Appropriately Licensed as a Contractor in the State of North Carolina as Provided in General Statutes Chapter 87. Each Bidder Must Have a North Carolina Contractor's License. Each Bidder Shall Make Positive Efforts to Use Small and Minority Owned Business Enterprises on This Project Buncombe Co. Parks & Rec Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bid Proposals and to Waive Any Informalities.
