Schuylkill County intends to readvertise this work as a new project, early next year with construction anticipated for the 2026 construction season. - The project involves a base bid and alternate bid, including the installation of a new storm sewer pipe, two (2) inlets, and ancillary roadway and sidewalk repairs. The particular items of work for the contract are identified more specifically in the Bid Form, Contract Specifications and Contract Documents. The entire project will be awarded to one (1) Contractor. - This project involves roadway improvements consisting of milling and bituminous paving, full depth roadway restoration, sidewalk/curb restoration, and drainage improvements. - Project Location: Borough of McAdoo - CDBG Hancock Street Phase III Drainage Project along Hancock Street from West Monroe Street to West Adams Street. A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder naming the County of Schuylkill as oblige and acceptable surety in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid shall be submitted with each bid. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by the required guaranty.
